Over the years Rockmart Slate Corporation has developed a broad and extensive customer base for the Slate Scape products throughout the Eastern United States. Our clients include landscape companies, parks, and recreational facilities, county and municipal governments and large landscape contractors.
Other than the "Rockmart" deposits in Georgia, the only other slate producing regions of the United States are located in western North Carolina, Eastern Pennsylvania and Vermont. To our knowledge, no one in any of these areas is producing or marketing product lines like Slate Scape.
Rockmart's centralized geographic location and excellent accessibliltiy to many markets via CSX rail, river and interstate highways give us a clear advantage in servicing many markets as transportation costs are a large part of the overall delivered product costs.

Rockmart Slate Corporation is a 95 acre fully permitted slate quarry located in Rockmart, Georgia, with history dating to the 1850s. We have proven and measured reserves of 44 million tons of slate. Makers of Slatescape, S-1 Dura Base as well as a variety of slate based products.
